M-Shield appliance is an integrated security appliance with robust firewall and intrusion prevention functions targeted for:

The M-Shield features firewall, Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), user-defined policy, management reports, automatic live-update, embedded web server for easy configuration.

The above functions are integrated into M-Shield appliance. Within minutes, M-Shield can be installed and kept running 7x24x365 to protect a network easily and effectively. M-Shield is designed for easy management and use by:

Easy-configured IPS policies
M-Shield comes with fine-tuned IPS policies, which classifies attacks into three alert levels. In addition, the IPS false positives can be controlled easily with the web-based Policy Editor. It's not necessary to deal with the complex details of IPS policies.

Transparent firewall
By using transparent networking technology, M-Shield can be deployed to any networks with minimal or no change at all.

Automatic Live-update
The appliance firmware (including operating system updates) and signature components are kept up-to-date via live-update function. No user intervention is necessary.

User-friendly configuration interface
All configurations (e.g., IP addresses, firewall policies, IPS setup) are done through web-based interface. Even a novice-user can configure the appliance.
